The Deluxe EZE-MAN Winch is a Suspension (SU) and Retrieval (RT) unit designed to be used in conjunction with the EZE-MAN Tripod. It funcions by lowering and raising a worker into and out of confined spaces with ease. The EZE-MAN Winch does not provide Fall Arrest (FA) protection. A personal fall arrest system is required whenever a worker is being raised or lowered more than six feet.

A suitable personal fall arrest system could consist of either a Lifeline/Rope Grab system, or a Retractable Lanyard attatched by a compatible carabiner to the off-center eye bolt on the EZE-MAN Tripod. The Deluxe EZE-MAN Winch is man-rated to 350 pounds total weight and is designed for all day continuous use. This winch features a positive break that is designed to stay in the active mode and can not be accidentally released since there are no levers or switches. All winch cables come with a standard double-locking 3/4" throat opening swivel snaphook and 3/16" Galvanized Aircraft Cable.
