PermaBand is an American manufacturer of stainless steel banding, stainless steel buckles, stainless steel wing clips and stainless steel sign hanging brackets. All of our raw materials are purchased from American mills as prime product with traceability back to the steel mill certification. Our mill certifications contain the metallurgical content and the physical properties . We do not use open market / secondary stainless or import stainless. Our .030" thick type 201 stainless steel banding and 201 stainless steel buckles are a true 201 stainless alloy as originally designed, not a 200 / 300 series blend that has recently appeared in the marketplace. ( Type 301, 302 and 304 stainless is softer - IE lower PSI than type 201 stainless ). Our 201 stainless is the product designed for demanding applications such as traffic signal, heavy sign installations, hose coupling attachments and utility pole applications. We apply a perfect, full round edge to the stainless steel banding and adhere to rigid ASTM standards. The finish will always be shiny as originally designed. The edge will always be perfect! Our stainless banding boxes have a pre-scored flap in the center of the box that allows for buckle and wing clip / wing seal storage inside the box. The box also has a view slot for checking the amount of banding left. PermaBand stainless buckles are designed / manufactured to perform under the most demanding, highest tension applications.
