The ISC REFLEX Mechanical Hitch (MH285) is a mid-line attachable mechanical hitch device designed for arborist climbing in MRT or SRT systems, offering precise friction control with a gradual release of friction. Its safety-lock swing-frame and L-shaped links allow the rope to be inserted and helically wound into the links (rather than threaded through), with a top-link latch to keep the rope captivated during use. Built for use on 11–13 mm EN1891 Type A rope, it provides consistent friction across the rope range without adjusting settings and supports a 200 kg rated rescue load.
