Designed specifically for experienced rope access technicians and technical rescue professionals, the RIG® is a compact, highly efficient descender built to streamline your daily workflow on rope. Featuring an intuitive rope guide, easy installation without disconnecting from your harness, and an ergonomic handle, it delivers precise, comfortable descent control even under heavy loads.
The integrated AUTO-LOCK system allows effortless workstation positioning without the need to tie off the device or manually lock the handle. Engineered for longevity in demanding, high-wear environments, the RIG features reinforced side plate protection, a wear-reducing cam, and is available in a repairable version to extend the life of your equipment.
AUTO-LOCK System: Automatically locks the rope and returns the handle to a secure storage position, allowing easy workstation positioning without manual lock-offs or handle manipulation.
Harness-Connected Rope Installation: The swing-sided moving plate includes a safety gate, enabling quick rope installation and easy passing of intermediate anchors while remaining safely attached to your harness.
Dual Descent & Versatile Modes: Features both a side-plate run and a V-shaped friction channel for optimal descent control and kink-free rope management; supports short ascents and lead belaying.
Built for Durability & Repairability: Constructed with a reinforced stainless steel friction zone and an optimized cam shape to minimize wear—available in a repairable model with replaceable components.
