Intended Use:

• For use in rigging in a belay for a lowering or raising system, for example between a rope grabbing device (prusiks, cam, etc) and anchor.
• Rigging at the top of a haul system. Here it’s purpose would be to allow the load to be transferred from one rope to another when passing a knot.
• Anywhere tension in a rope system needs to be transferred from one part of a system to another.
• The Radium Release Hitch Kit, when properly rigged, may add some shock-absorbing properties to the belay system.

The PMI Radium Load Release Kit has been proven to out-perform load release straps time after time. The Radium has greater extension (9+ ft) and better control and it can never fuse together under shock load the way that load release straps can. Carabiners are part of the system, simplifying your rigging. Pre-tied accessory cord assists in rapid deployment for convenience and in high-intensity situations.
