The Rock Exotica Akimbo is a versatile mid-line attachable friction device that allows you to ascend and descend a stationary or moving rope system without changing equipment. The Akimbo has adjustable settings to allow for optimal performance with a range of rope diameters and climber weights.

The Akimbo opens easily to remove or install a rope mid-line and compresses back down into a compact form factor both on and off the rope. It is suitable for use on both SRS and MRS climbing methods. The wire gate conveniently allows the climber to use a small non-PPE carabiner to connect to the SRS attachment point.
