The Thern Atlas 2000 Pound Electric Hoist combines portability with strength and precision. The strength comes from a completely enclosed AC induction motor that provides quiet operation and long life. The included control pendant has a standard push-button operation with an eight (8) foot power cord. The cast aluminum construction is designed for the rugged work site while the internal gears are cut from bronze to provide accurate, high-efficiency operation and long-lasting service. The enclosed oil bath provides continuous lubrication to minimize wear while the oil seals keep dirt out and oil in. The internal mechanical brake provides positive load control for lifting and lowering operations. For enhanced load control, the pressure plate applies pressure to the drum and wire rope to help maintain uniform winding and decreased rope rubbing.
