The ODM VIS 500 is a Wi-Fi enabled fiber inspection probe that is extremely easy to use with plenty of features to make users' lives easier. With automated image focus, PASS/Fail functionality, and easy pairing to Android and Apple devices. This all means that the VIS 500 simplifies the crucial fiber inspection process.  The VIS 500 probe sends out a standard Wi-Fi signal that can be used to turn any smart device into a fiber testing hub. Using the inSpec software provided for free so that you can use your phone or tablet to easily view fiber end faces, run automated analysis, save images, and create/share reports. With a single press of a button, the probe and the inspection scope will find the peak focus point for visual or automated analysis. With this easy-to-use system, the user can fine-tune their device function to meet their need.
